Katy joined the SPTRFA in April 2008. She graduated from Winona State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies. Currently, Katy is pursuing her Master of Arts in Management from Saint Mary's University in Minneapolis.
Prior to working with the SPTRFA, Katy worked with the Mankato MoonDogs baseball team as the Public Relations Specialist.
A southern Minnesota native, Katy currently resides in Minnetonka and enjoys exploring the Twin Cities in her spare time.
Katy will visit school sites throughout the school year. She will be available to provide retirement and pension information as well as answer questions members might have regarding those topics. Katy will also be focusing on publications that explain key features regarding the SPTRFA pension program or general topics about teacher retirement.
