The St. Paul Teachers' Retirement Fund Association (SPTRFA) works with several employers of teachers and other members of SPTRFA.  These employers include:

As of July 1, 2002, all charter schools in Minnesota contribute to the Minnesota Teachers Retirement Association (TRA).  Employees who did contribute to SPTRFA prior to July 1, 2002, still have service credit with SPTRFA under the Combined Service law.
